This is it.
My life has spun upside down.
Everything went wrong, it's my fault.
She didn't need to do it,
she didn't want to do it.
But I wanted her to.
So she did.

She jumped.
Off the edge,
into the crashing waves
of the deep blue.
And disappeared into it's icy depths,
and landed in the murky darkness below.

There she will stay,
until worn away by the waves.
There she will stay,
unmoving.
Eyes forever open,
Lungs forever filled,
Skin forever white,
Bones forever chilled,
her heart will never beat
to the same thundering tune.

But here, she shall stay,
in my heart,
in your heart,
in mother's heart,
in father's heart,
in sorrow,
in pain,
in anger,
and in vain.

But she will never truly die,
until her name is never said again.
Request from Crazy-Scribbler:
"I'd like you to write a short story/poem or whatever you want about someone who has a friend who is about to die."
Sorry I changed it a bit, I wrote it about someone who has a friend who has already died.
Thanks,
